The cultural platform 'El Ojo del Arte' accompanied the legendary Brazilian musician Gilberto Gil at his concert in the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires. The artist arrived in the country with his farewell tour 'Tempo Rei Tour,' celebrating a career of over six decades. The concert, produced by Fenix Entertainment and covered by the Argentine News Agency (NA), was attended by thousands of spectators and marked the artist's reunion with the Argentine public as part of his final major international tour.

During this historic show, 'El Ojo del Arte' acted as a cultural partner, consolidating its presence in the art circuit with guests such as renowned media artist Eduardo Costa, a pioneer in media art known for his 'volumetric painting'; as well as artist and activist Marcelo Brodsky, Brazilian curator Rodrigo Moura, and former artistic director of MALBA.

Led by art historian Gisela Asmundo, the project has consolidated in recent years as a dissemination space that combines journalistic content, audiovisual production, and a radio program dedicated to the current art scene.

In an interview with this medium, Asmundo, who had a meeting with Gil before the artist took the stage, explained that it was a moment of 'great emotion because he is an icon of Brazilian music, culture, and art.'

'Despite having such a long and rich career as an artist, he still has that special youth and vibe for being on stage,' the expert recounted about the 83-year-old singer-songwriter.

Additionally, Asmundo revealed that Gil met with Charly García in a 'relaxed and pleasant conversation' between two great references in the history of Latin American music.

'The director of the platform considered it 'an honor and a privilege' to have the artist in the country, 'something that perhaps not everyone is given,' and indicated: 'El Ojo del Arte is part of this very important group that is Alpha Media and Fenix Entertainment Group, which also gave us the possibility of supporting and accompanying this concert at the arena in Buenos Aires.'

'The specialized portal brings together articles, interviews, analysis of works, and tours of cultural spaces, created by a team of journalists, historians, and specialists who address both historical movements and contemporary trends in the cultural landscape.'

'Furthermore, the site expands on the radio platform through Radio Rivadavia, where artists, curators, and key figures from the environment share their views on the local and international scene.' 'With the objective of bringing art to new audiences and expanding access to cultural information, El Ojo del Arte positions itself as a multi-platform space that articulates digital content, radio, and special productions linked to exhibitions, fairs, and events, such as Gilberto Gil's last tour.'
